JDi Sample Course Schedule

Students will take an average of 9 credits per semester for 10 semesters, but progress in the program is highly individualized.

Lower and Upper Division Courses

Students may not enroll in Upper Division courses until Lower Division courses are complete. For a typical course schedule like the sample below, Lower Division courses take the first four semesters, and Upper Division courses take the next six semesters.

Once you take the Professional Skills Residency at the start of your 5th semester, all Upper Division Required Courses and Residencies may be taken in any semester you wish. The one exception is Foundational Skills, which must be taken in your last or second-to-last semester.

The sample schedule below incorporates all Required Courses and Residencies, in addition to select Elective Courses. Reference the full list of current Elective Courses on our Academics Page, subject to change.
